Has this even happened to you? Your professor posts the new folder for this weeks assignments, in it is a discussion board that your class has two weeks to participate in. However, when your professor closes that week's folder the bulletin board disappears too. Luckily, there is another way to find the discussion board. Just follow these directions:

  • Sign into BlackBoard
  • In the upper right hand corner click on your name
  • Now click the little box that has two lines through it
  • This takes you to where you can see posts from all Discussion Boards you are participating in
  • Each post will say the title and then beneath it "Posted by [Student Name] on [Discussion Board Name] Discussion forum."
  • The discussion board name is actually a link you can click to go to that discussion board

That's an easy to way to find a discussion board even if a professor has accidentally hidden it.
