The answer to that question will vary from student to student. The typical rule of thumb is that for every one hour of class time a student should be doing two hours of studying. Therefore, with a 3 credit course, you would need to study 6 hours a week. If you are taking 15 credits, that would be 30 hours a week. Will you actually need that much time to study? It depends on both you and the classes you are taking. If you're a fast reader you may be able to study the chapter of your textbook in 1 hour instead of 3. Or if your class only requires some written papers, you may have to spend more time working on them some weeks, and other weeks have nothing for that class. You may also find that you've mastered the materials for the upcoming test in only 3 hours. It honestly will depend on you and how you learn. The best advice is to expect to study a lot. If you end up needing to study less that a reward for you!
